How we work

Working with tradespeople can be complex. We try to keep things as clear and simple as possible.

Most of our projects follow the same six-part process. You can read all about it below.

1. ✉️ Make an enquiry

Fill out our short enquiry form to let us know what you’re looking for, whether it’s a simple coffee table or a full joinery package. Any sketches, photos, measurements and general inspiration you can provide will help us understand more about your project.

2. 💁‍♀️ Initial quote

We’ll get back to you within 48 hours to provide some ideas, ask questions and give an initial quote. We’ll also offer advice on how we could bring your ideas to life with different materials, and how we can help you make the best use of space.

3. ✏️ Design meeting

If you’re happy with the quote, we’ll book a time to visit your home or office, take measurements, prepare samples, and produce a design. We’ll refine this together until you’re completely happy. We ask for a small deposit at this stage, which comes off the final project cost.

4. 🔨 Manufacturing

Time to build! Before we get started, we’ll take a deposit (usually 75% of the total fee, although we can split larger projects into three payments). This allows us to order materials and start making your furniture. We’ll provide updates throughout, and you’re always welcome to visit the workshop to see work in progress.

5. 🚚 Delivery & installation

As we near completion, we’ll contact you to book a convenient installation date. We build as much of the furniture as possible in the workshop to minimise disruption in your home, and we’ll let you know how much time we expect to be onsite for installation.

6. 💷 Final payment

Once your furniture’s delivered and installed, and you’re totally happy, we’ll send our final invoice. You can rest easy knowing that our furniture comes with a two-year guarantee, and we use hinges and runners with a lifetime guarantee.
